Representation Of The Johnson County Appraisal Board Of Directors

Representatives for the Johnson County Appraisal District from the City of Cleburne, Johnson County Texas, and Cleburne Independent School District (CISD) are appointed by resolutions from their respective jurisdictions. For other cities, special districts, schools outside CISD, and community college districts, representatives are selected through a voting process. This system of appointments and voting ensures transparency, accountability, and compliance with Texas property tax laws, giving all stakeholders, including local governments and taxpayers, a say in the Johnson County Appraisal process. These dedicated representatives actively contribute to shaping policies that directly impact property valuations throughout Johnson County CAD, ensuring fair and informed decisions for everyone involved.
